Who should have got in trouble, the bank or man?

They had a man went to the bank to cash a check in of six thousand dollars. Two days later he called the bank to see how much money he had in his account. The bank told him he had over six million dollars in his account. The bank made a mistake and turned that six thousand to six million dollars. He ran to that...

The man.

He knew it was a mistake, he knew he should not have had 6 million dollars in the bank, that's why he immediately went down to withdraw it.

The man. Legally, you are not allowed to benefit from a mistake of others. He knew the money was not his, he should not have withdrawn it. It's fraud.

If he returns ALL the money, they will probably not press charges, although the DA does have that ability.

You wish you were mine!!

the man.
He knew his check wasn't for $6m.
