Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, RI

Fidelity Investments is one of several campus buildings on Salem Street, which is across the road from Bryant University. This facility, which is 250,000 square feet and 350 acres of prime land, is Fidelity's regional operating center. Fidelity, which opened in April 1998, is one of the country's leading providers of financial services. In June 1999, Fidelity began construction of an additional building at this particular site, creating 1,300 new jobs as part of the jobs creation and economic development legislation. The addition was completed in 2000, bringing the grand total of employees to 2,500.
